gonna fly~
Yay! so happy and excited! i’m gonna fly to Taiwan in like 10hrs time!!! OMG! =))) It’ll be with the people i love too. B, Cass and Aaron. hmm just hope no conflicts will come and we will all have a jolly good time tgt! =DDD
the past few days have been fun too. busy but fun. exactly how i like it to be. just hate being stagnant. instead i just love moving about, meeting people and doing stuffs. just a brief account of what i did (before my lousy memory fails me).
Mon: Met up with my dearest shepherd. she is the best, she listens, understands me and gives me the best advise. more than these, she is also the one that has helped me alot in my walk with God. every now and then, her words will remind me of God’s words and his teaching. she is my ‘teacher’, friend, sister and i love her to bits! <3
Tue: Stayover at Carol’s place with Mila la =) another 2 of my besties! one of the BEST stayovers ever. <3 them plenty too! =)))
Wed: Chillax day, breakfast with the girls at coffee bean, house visit my ex-math tutor (she is a genius btw, i swear) then slack again with carol before a simple dinner with yongle joining us. fun time with joy and laughter and ended with a walk (home) down memory lane.
Thurs: Mini caregroup gathering cause everyone else is either busy or already overseas. hmm Kat’s teaching got me thinking…yes just what ARE our distractions and really, how CAN we get away from them or better yet prevent them from even surfacing. hmmm…
Fri: Trial camp for SDE. OMG. the games prepared for the freshmens are seriously, seriously F.U.N! wow. i envy them now. well, at least we were able to try out the games and since i’m fake freshie, wahahahaha i get to play them again! yesssss. can’t wait for camp! which is like on the exact day i come back from taiwan. 0.0 hopefully i won’t be too tired.
Sat: Underground cover mission for admission day. the acting of fake freshie begins. haha kinda fun pretending not to know my friends, kinda weird too cause we can’t really speak to one another, just a secret knowing sly smile. Service after was ok, then it was CRAZY FUN with my fav S12 clique! i always feel happy with them, they’re just a bunch of do anything and everything (legal) crazy laughing friends, all whom i seriously love and treasure. Karaoke session was great (as usual) and the polaroids taken after will be memories never forgotten. ps: let’s not climb that hill again! thanks. xD
Sun: Impromptu Ikea trip with Carol and Mila. the daim cake there is still as awesome as ever. found something new too (credits to Carol), their smoked salmon salad was yummy too! (just that more salad is actually needed) then it’s back to Carol’s place for hzgg. zomg love the show. such an olddie but still its love. xiao yan zi and wu ah ge is best. haha
Mon: Busy busy day. woke up late so had to rush my dad’s father’s day gift (sigh. still not done) then rushed down (thank God b drives fast haha) to Vivo for a Crab and Durian buffet with the extended family. food was not really up to our standards but ok, enjoyed it anyway. after discussing the destination for our yearly dec trip. the conclusion is…everywhere (minds just keep changing -.-) or rather, as my uncle puts it, the opposite of wherever we agree on now. haha yes my family. fickle minded much.
OK. it’s like 623am now, tues already and I HAVE NOT SLEPT! OMG. sleeping schedule is so so screwed. i can hear the birds chirpping already. greattt…well, good night morning world. gotta get up in 4hrs time. everything is zoom zoom zoom starting now. OK bye! xoxo
love old school
Last night was one of the happiest nights for me. All thanks to two of my closest friends. Carol and Mila. <3
Nothing beats having true friends beside you in times of need. They cheer you up easily and make life so much more bearable. I’m really thankful for friends like them. Simple things like watching and screaming at favourite cute scenes of Huang Zhu Ge Ge while munching on oreos with milk made me forget the pain, made my smile genuine again. Also, for the first time in the past 2 weeks, i could finally sleep soundly, easily, happily. =) I’m loving sleepovers all over again.
Today was great too. Had a good time fellowshiping with them over awesome breakfast at Coffee Bean, West Mall. Followed by a nice visit to my ex math tutor place with Jolene and Hannah. Before returning a ‘studying’ Carol still at Coffee Bean. Dinner brought back many memories as Yongle joined us. With friends, some things just don’t change. And in the case of yl, his crude (but funny) words, omg forever same. The only thing that is forever with yl. *shakes head Dinner was at a simple Japanese restaurant and dessert at Forlick. (yl treated us TWO huge cups!) It was fun catching up with them.
Walking home from west mall (omg quite far), got me missing my JC days. I miss the fun times with my friends there. I’m also missing the first ever Caregroup i had. The pioneer cg for PJC, with Carol, Mila, Aaron, Kester, Yongle, Jiahao, Stef and Weisong. (so gonna hunt the pictures we have together down soon) i miss the gathering at my house for cg, the playing of blind mice at the playground, the non-stop laughter we shared everytime we meet up and the heartfelt time of sharing when some of us retained, the love and empathy they showed to me was really so sincere, so touching, so true. I really miss them and those times. I would give anything to enjoy those days again.
Really. Friends, true friends are so important. Without them, really i wouldn’t know what to do. Think it shouldn’t be diamonds are forever (tho, i like diamonds), it should be friends are forever. =)
